We have an outstanding Restaurant Chef de Cuisine/Chef opportunity based in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah, with an exceptional salary and benefits package.
Salt Lake City has become one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the Great American West, with a burgeoning hip restaurant scene following right along. Seated in a beautiful mountain valley and surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains in the East and the Oquirrh Mountains in the West, Salt Lake City is known for their world-class ski resorts, many national parks, The Sundance Film Festival, the largest genealogy library in the world, and of course, the Great Salt Lake. More and more sophisticated diners, both residents and visitors, are seeking exceptional unique dining experiences in Salt Lake City.
Our client is an established award-winning hotel that is adding an elevated brasserie/restaurant to their in-house portfolio. They hope to become the best restaurant in the Salt Lake City metro area in their first year of operation, and to establish the restaurant as one of the MUST-DO dining experiences for visitors to the Salt Lake City metro-area of over 1.2MM people. There is an expert leadership team in place that will be guiding and supporting the CDC/Chef that is chosen for this amazing opportunity. The restaurant will be its own entity, and the Restaurant Chef will be responsible for the execution and guest experience in this restaurant only.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must have the following to be considered:
- Five years’ experience working as a CDC or Chef in the fine dining segment
- Ability to work with an expert team in a very collaborative environment
- Ability to support and execute an elevated brasserie menu
- An EXPERT on-the-line cook at every station
- Solid understanding of food cost and BOH labor cost
- Strong kitchen organizational skills
- Skilled communicator that leads by example
- Passion for developing and mentoring a kitchen team
- Strong honesty, integrity and guest advocate philosophy
- Personal and professional maturity is a key attribute
Salary Range & Benefits
- Salary package – $80k – $100k
- Achievable bonus program
