This premier franchisee of Buffalo Wild Wings provides a fast paced, high energy environment with amazing growth (currently 21 units and growing rapidly). Opportunities are available in all of Oregon (7 locations in Portland!), north central California (Redding, Petaluma, more), north/east of Los Angeles marketplace (Burbank, Ranch Cucamonga, Palmdale, Glendale, Laverne, Chico, Yuba City, Valencia, Canyon Country, more). Currently considering restaurant managers will all levels of experience, from entry level to General Manager. They’ll train and develop the right personality!
The Restaurant Manager provides leadership and assistance to the General Manager to ensure that all team members are guest-focused, team-focused, and community-connected. The Restaurant Manager exercises knowledge of restaurant operations, manages staff resources, provides counsel, develops and coaches team members and helps to build sales and profits while maintaining operating standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Manages the human resource function in the restaurant ensuring recruitment, selection, orientation, training, scheduling and performance management functions meet or exceed company specified criteria.
- Ensures the daily execution of the Mission Statement and Core Values.
- Complies with company policies, practices and procedures and communicates all changes to team members.
- Involved in local store marketing efforts.
- Understands the Profit and Loss Statement and helps create action plans for opportunity areas.
- Ensures overall food quality and handling, safety, security, service and cleanliness standards are met.
Requirements Ideal candidate must have the following:
- A minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience (experience managing a restaurant with a full bar is preferred)
- Be highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven with strong planning, organizing and follow-up skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of employees
- Proven ability to drive employee satisfaction/retention, guest satisfaction through customer-based metrics improvement and financial performance
- Strong decision making and conflict resolution skills
- Strong desire to develop their team and actively continue their own development
- A proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment
